Serving Lunch At FFAST
with Sea Grant
In October 2024, FishHer joined a dedicated group of volunteers to support the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife (ODFW) in its salmon mitigation efforts. It was an enriching experience that gave us a behind-the-scenes look at fish management practices. We're grateful for the opportunity to contribute and learn alongside such a committed group.

Meritime Sector Initiative Grant
Sunday, February 16th was an incredible day for the commercial fishing fleets in our region. FishHer received our first grant funding from NW Oregon Works to purchase life vests, survival suits, and commercial fishing licenses to distribute at our 1st annual Commercial Fishermen’s Appreciation Lunch, April 12th, from 11am to 3pm, at Englund Marine & Industrial Supply in Astoria. Thank you to Columbia River Maritime Museum for allowing us to receive the big check in an environment rich with our region’s maritime legacy.
